Interceding for Muslims as they cry out to God...
"Jumuah" is the Arabic word for "Friday," the day Muslims everywhere make the extra effort to attend mid-day prayer at their local mosque. As our Muslim friends bow and call out to Allah, shouldn't we also stop and cry out to God on their behalf? We think so and, in fact, we know that it is this kind of prayer focused on those crying out to know and be pleasing to God that our Father indeed hears and answers. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, we are not engaged in physical conflict with those following the teachings of Muhammad. Our efforts are directed against the enemy and his hold on the lives of people, preventing them from seeing/hearing/knowing God's love and grace in Jesus Christ.
